Resilient - Adaptable - Clever
Reputation
►Ridgeclan cats are known survivors. They are a group of cats who are thick furred and as solid as the mountain beneath their paws, not just in body but in mind as well. They pride themselves on being able to survive the coldest leafbares their territory can throw at them and being able to outwit the dangerous predators that stalk their territory. Their current leader, Pinestar, wants to uphold the resilience and adaptability that were upheld by the leaders before him.
As it is with every new leader, Pinestar will shape his clan with his leadership. While upholding their reputation of resilience and adaptability, Pinestar hopes to add cleverness to the list, if only to make sure that his clan isn't perceived as a bunch of brutes. He is a clever cat and he hopes his clan follows suit, making sure to figure things out quickly and making changes on the spot when needed to achieve success.

The Warrior Code
- Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
- Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
- Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
- Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
- A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
- Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
- A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice. (Exceptions can be made)
- The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
- After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before the sun dips behind the mountains.
- Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all and any trespassing cats.
- Should another clan ask to meet with Frostclan's leader, safe passage is allowed unless otherwise stated.
- No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
- A leader's word is law, but can and should be questioned respectfully if found cruel or unfair.
- An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
- A medicine cat may take a mate as long as they have an apprentice ready to take over for them should they have kits and it doesn't interfere with their duties afterwards.
